I'm posting this review as fair warning. DO NOT WATCH THIS FILM. Okay, I give it one star kasi walang zero star, at medyo fun naman siyang panoorin kung fun yung kasama mo (it's only fun to watch it when you're with someone). It's mindless horror. BLEH.
It's about a photographer who brings his wife to Tokyo and realizes that a lot of their pictures have "spiritual marks". Apparently, this phenomenon means that there's a disturbed spirit that is trying to communicate something to them.
Well, the problem with this film is that while it's talking about spirit, the characters were all spirit-less. They were flat, boring, and unusually mindless. As in ang daming BAWAL ANG TANGA moments. Who are the actors anyway? Si Joshua Jackson lang kilala ko, and he was horrid in that film.
And everything from the camera-work to the music is too set-up, it becomes too predictable. Fine, there were moments that were scream-inducing, but these moments are also expected. I really hated the eerie music special effects. It's so passé. Brings nothing new to the table. Add that to the lame script and an acceptable yet badly executed plot (yung tipong, when is it ever gonna end!?), you have a one-star, I-have-nothing-else-to-do film. Hehehehehe.
If you do watch, watch it with friends sa Trinoma para pwede pang mag-camwhore. AnaRod!!! Can't wait to see our camwhore moments. (=
 | lol. yea, just as what my friends who watched it said, am panget niya. most of the time, rip off films are not as good (uber bad even) as the original Asian horror films. nagsayang ka ng pera. but, you CAN naman. abilities. haha. *sorry, Balara lang* |

| yea, pero we're grepa (lol) so we need to watch yung worth it namang panoorin, da ba? mp. you don't invite the balara boys over to watch. we will bring food, promise.XP |
 | Have you watched the original Thai version of the movie? Major EW. Nakatulog ako halfway through. That movie gave me the reason not to watch the Americanized (is that a word?) one. |

mas nakakatakot yung ORIG.. thai movie ata or jap.. im not sure. yun yung nakakatakot.. ang BANO kasi nang mga KANO eh.. puro english version na walang kwenta.. pati yung MY SASSY GIRL ginawan nila nang ENGLISH VERSION kahit si ELISHA CUTHBERT pa yung babae sinira nila yung movie nakita ko yung trailer.. tae mga hollywood remakes na yan.. go asians hahahha |

| I saw this trailer na rin nga (for MSG). Super fave ko pa naman yun, pero grabe, I spit at the remake. I know hot si elisha cuthbert, but she's not sassy! AHK! Yes, leave Asian cinema na lang kasi to the Asians. Hehehehehe. |

 | i agree completely...que suxxor. about the only things that made it bearable were 1. looking at his insanely beautiful camera set up and studio. and 2. his hot wife. yes, that is in order of priority. |
