Well, in less than two weeks, I have primary results of my photos.
I'm only allowed to pick one shot per group, but I've already made my preliminary decision. Please help me na rin.
Sorry the scans are weird. They're really raw (from scan) kasi I don't have Photoshop in the PC I've uploaded it on. But your opinion is of high value! Hehehe. Please comment on the pictures you really, really like (or really, really despise! :P).

My last day of being 20, as usual, was better than my birthday itself. I was scheduled for my grad pictorials, but it got delayed, so there was a mandatory hanging out with 141 classmates, IDEA friends, make-up, and tons and tons of CAMWHORING. It doesn't get any better than that. :P
Brylle, May, and I had to walk out (literally) of the studio, which was located somewhere in West Triangle. We walked out with our hair and make-up on kasi sayang yung binayad namin for our change make-up for the creative shot. Sobrang all-eyes-on-me effect talaga (malamang, aside from the fact that I was wearing a tiara, I was with a Super Inggo dead-ringer and a takas from Mardis Gras). When May and I entered McDonald's Panay, the 500 people there was in dead silence, I was awarded Miss Friendship Award by the guy in the counter, and two little girls literally stopped at our table just to stare at us. IT WAS SO FUNNY.
Oh, and I think I'm allergic to hairspray. What gives a girl power and punch? Well, sige na nga, hairspray... and attitude. :D

7th: School of Economics
Mischief Management! Hehehe. Arianne [Ferrer] and I joined EcoSoc's HP quiz bee. Yes, it was a painful realisation, knowing we're not the Harry Potter nerds we thought we were. We faired okay, median scorers. Thank you Amy Benson and Dennis Bishop.
8th: Walang pasok, walang Internet, home camwhore.
9th: ...
10th: Camera Hiatus. I'd multiply Andrea and Kristine's photos, pero wag na lang, linkage!!!
11th: Vinzons and Burgoo Gateway
After adjudicating a medical labour-related debate AND debating about the Middle East [which, I'm obviously terrible at due to the stark lack of examples], we decided to crash Gateway thinking we'd see Quentin Tarantino. But alas, all that remained were his posters, and I was reduced to almost veneratinig the path he walked, I'M KIDDING. Well, I was strangely extra manic that time, even without the food, and since the cinema schedules were terrible, we decided to have dinner instead. We were suggesting along the stretch of Gateway, ruled out the food court due to the crowds, ruled out Teriyaki Boy because of the waiting time, ruled out Super Bowl because no one wanted Chinese, and then when they wanted to eat at Cibo, I lobbied for Burgoo because I was feeling uh... artsy.
And lo and behold, my cousins were there. Haha. SMALL WORLD EFFECT. But then, seemingly half of Metro Manila was in Gateway that night.
Maganda yung art namin. Pramis. And Claire, we remember you kasi yun yung pangalan nung server namin [pinalitan niya si Lala].

School of Economics, Some in Vinzons, very few in my house (on the 5th).
Again, a random day to take pictures, but this one was uh... special. I've bad name-face recognition among the applicants and I'm supposed to make sure I know them at the end of the application period! As in interacted with them, shared food with them, seen them debate, adj, ladilah.
And of course, assimilate the DebSoc culture, which is, mainly... CAMWHORING.

Bad trip because it's AA battery reliant and my rechargable batts were going bonkers. Oh well. Photo dump! |

In fact, I sort of did that before, but then again, I always had the camera on the most ordinary days and I never had it on special days. Something I'd refer to as the "camera curse". But whatever. Everyday could be a special day instead.

| | 21 Feb 2007, Wednesday - Started off with the regular tutorial in Payatas. I'm @ 36 hours which means I'll fulfil quota in the next 2 meetings, but hopefully, I'll continue going even after quota (public service chorva). And then on to UPDS for our elections most important event, the Miting D Avance, also known as the Grill-Your-Candidates portion. The first twenty (or so) pictures were taken by me, the rest, blame Yang Villa. And yes, I posted everything including MY incriminating photos. |
